"This is our favorite place to go in Newnan! Food is absolutely amazing and the portions always impress. The staff is always so accommodating and always try to find room in their seating to get us in on late notice. I don't think we have eaten at this restaurant without personally seeing the owner/executive chef Jarrod and his amazing wife Jess. Mix that with Lou and Olivia and it always feels like a date night with family to share it with. As far as the food....the starters are so good! We always get the Fried Avocados and last weekend we tried the beet salad with goat cheese and it blew us away. Went perfectly with my Smoked Old Fashion. Entrees are huge and my go to are the Meatloaf when they have it, the steak is amazing, always perfectly seasoned and cooked and the salmon never disappoints. To be honest I haven't had an Entree I didn't like. Lastly, I would not leave without trying their bread pudding. It's crazy good and I take leftovers home just so I can save room for it. This is our go to spot for quality food and a downtown family vibe."

"We went here last night for our anniversary. I'd read good things about it and got recommendations for it from a couple friends. Well, we are happy we chose this place. Everything was fantastic, from the service to the food, it was perfect. It's a small place, but we felt like we had plenty of room at our table. But with it being smaller, I'd definitely recommend making reservations. We started with drinks. Both drinks were delicious. We have the blackberry smash and a margarita. My fiance doesn't usually drink except for the occasional margarita. But she actually really enjoyed my cocktail as much as her margarita. Next was our appetizer. We ordered the poutine. The portion size was nice and big. It was loaded with fries, beef, cheese curds, and gravy. Had to force ourselves to stop eating it so we could save room for our entrees, lol. I decided to try the mushroom soup, since I love mushrooms. It was definitely worth it. My fiance isn't a huge mushroom fan, but she enjoyed it as well. Now to the entrees...we had the duck carbonara and the ribeye (w/asparagus and mashed potatoes). Both of these were fantastic. The ribeye was huge. I'd guess it was around 26oz. It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and tender. The asparagus was thick. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I'm not a huge mashed potatoes guy, but my fiance is and she said the potatoes were really good, "I didn't even need any gravy". My duck carbonara was equally delicious. The raw egg yolk added the perfect amount of creaminess to the pasta. The duck was perfectly cooked. I loved the crispy bits. It contrasted nicely with the creamy pasta. We don't typically order dessert but since it was our anniversary and because everything has been so damn good; oh, and the waitress told us "they say our bread pudding is life-changing". So, I said let's do it! I'm so glad I did. The bread pudding is easily one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. My fiance told the waitress she doesn't really like bread pudding, "it's soggy bread. I'm not really a fan." Well, she loved it as much as I did. We shared one order and devoured it! All in all, this was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We both love trying new foods/places. I would order every single one of these items again. Everything was perfect!!!"

"If you're looking for a place where the tapas menu never disappoints, look no further! I recently dined at this gem, and I was once again blown away by the culinary delights. The fried avocado with salmon is an absolute standout, crispy, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Chef Jarrod's meatloaf is another must-try; it's comfort food at its finest, perfectly seasoned and incredibly satisfying. To top off the experience, make sure to sit at the bar and let Lou work his magic. He crafts the best Old Fashioned I've ever had, and his martinis are dangerously good; you'll definitely find yourself ordering another! Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!"

"We had a birthday celebration here and we were all (30 of us) treated exquisitely! Food was served hot & fresh, water was kept topped off, and drinks were served up quickly! I can't stress enough how wonderful the atmosphere is in this restaurant. Some of us drove over 50 miles to be there - and it was beyond worth it! From the outside, the restaurant is very unassuming. But once you're inside, it certainly wraps itself around you and makes you feel like you're at home. Kudos to the chef, all of the food was excellent but the poutine was out of this world! I have nothing but praise for knife and Stone - and highly recommended it for your next gathering or celebration! You won't regret it!"

"I had a feeling this place would be a special little hideaway and it certainly was! I had a mushroom soup that was the best I've ever had. Great wine selection and very personal service. Will most definitely return!"

"We made reservations for dinner on a weeknight. The place was pretty empty; only a couple other tables when we arrived and eventually we were the only table and a couple people at the bar. The service was pretty slow considering it was empty. The waitress explained the staple items on the menu and some of the rotational items, we tried one of each. Overall, portions were nice, flavor was pretty good, but it was the saltiest food we've ever had."

"This was an excellent dining experience! From the time we walked through the door to the time we headed out. I regret not getting the name of the staff that greeted us and worked the host station. But they were very friendly, and checked on us throughout our visit between our interactions with our server, Olivia. She was excellent as well. Very personable, great at suggestions, and took great care of us. Our drinks from the bar were refreshing and well made. And the bartender was also personable and friendly. We had the Mushroom soup tapas, mushroom pork entree, salmon entree, and a piece of chocolate cake to take home. All of which were delicious! I highly recommend this place for date night, special occasions celebrated by two or a small group, or just because life is precious and great food and great people make it better! I hope others read this and make some time to try it out!"
